Valley Kids
Valley kids is a ministry for children who are in grades 3-6. This ministry runs every Friday evening between 7:00pm - 8:30pm during school terms. The program includes a time of studying God’s word, playing fun games, and eating some delicious snacks. Valley Kids aims to encourage children in their walk with the Lord, and enables them to meet new people and enjoy friendships within a Christian environment. South Valley Baptist Church has a strong desire for our children to learn more about God and love Him more each day. The Valley kids’ volunteers are excited for all the amazing opportunities they have to share the word with the younger generations.

Valley Impact
Valley Impact is our youth ministry for all secondary students. It runs each Thursday evening between 7:00pm - 8:30pm throughout school terms. Children enjoy spending time together, playing games, eating snacks and most importantly, being in the word of God. The youth are taught about the importance of living for Christ throughout their lives, whilst also being shown how they can study the bible in way that can bring them closer to the Lord. The Valley Impact team pray that they would be faithful in leading students in their ministry, so that each of them can live lives pleasing to God. South Valley Baptist Church recognizes that these children are the future leaders of the church and encourages them to spend time together learning about our great God.

Prayer Meeting
Prayer meeting is on twice a week, Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm and Sunday mornings at 10:00am. At South Valley Baptist Church we recognize the importance of prayer and acknowledge the command of 1 Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.” During the time we spend together we have a quick bible study followed by a time of prayer, prayer for our church and its members, for the community, our government, our missionaries’, the world and what God has placed in our hearts. Women’s Ministry
The South Valley Baptist Church women’s ministry is an amazing opportunity for women to come together and be in fellowship with one another. Each month this ministry either has a bible study evening on a Monday night at 7:00pm or meets on a Saturday morning for a morning tea and a time of testimonies. This time is very precious to the women of South Valley as it allows us to take time out of our busy schedules to grow closer to each other, and gain a greater knowledge of God. This year, the women are completing a studying on how to become a woman of excellence. Men’s Ministry
The Men of South Valley meet once a month on a Saturday night, and use this time to fellowship, build relationships and grow in their faith. The men’s ministry consists of an in-depth bible study, as well as the occasional BBQ and activity night. For more information contact Pastor James on 0403 338 450.
Valley Blast
Valley Blast, also known as Sunday school, takes place during the sermon at the Sunday morning services. These classes have a lesson, small group discussions, memory verses, singing, activities and crafts. Our aim is to provide a gospel- centered, Christ exalting lesson, approach and discussions, which will also incorporate teacher training. Valley Cubs
Valley Cubs is on each Sunday morning during the service for infants aged 0-5. The children are given an opportunity to learn about God in a caring and nurturing way through our creche team. For any inquires or questions please contact the church via email or contact Pastor James 0403 338 450.
Young Adults
Young adults is a ministry for those between the ages of approximately 18-30, and runs fortnightly on Monday evenings at 7:00pm. The ministry consists of worship, talks, studying the bible in small groups, snacks and fellowship. Currently the young adults are studying discipleship and what this should look like in their lives and in their relationship with others. This ministry hopes to encourage and educate our young adults on the importance of following Christ whole heartedly, and aims to support the young adults in the church through mentoring, fellowship and discipleship. South Valley Baptist Church recognizes the importance of these young people and encourages them to strive for excellence in their homes, workplaces and their communities.
